It’s time for the 30th update on my 101 in 1001 Challenge! If you haven’t been following along on this journey so far or have any questions about what the challenge is, you can check out this link for details.
This is the last full year of this challenge! I’ve been having fun with it, but I’m also very glad to be seeing the light at the end of the tunnel. My priorities have changed a lot since I started this challenge in July of 2016, so there are many of the tasks that I’m not interested in any more. I think that, while I’ve been enjoying this, I’m not going to be doing another one. I like the longer time-frame in some respects (as compared to the traditional annual goals or New Year’s Resolutions) but there’s so much potential for goal change that I’m just not ready for another 1001-day commitment.
Here’s this month’s challenge progress:

Personal #59: Make/do 12 things off Pinterest ~ 12/9/2018
This one took longer than I expected it to, partly because I used Pinterest a lot more at the beginning of the challenge than in the following months. It’s hard to make things off of a service if you stop using the service as regularly. However, when my family did its annual cookie bake day this year, we finally tried a recipe that counts as the 12th and final item for this challenge.
Reading #79: Complete a Reading Challenge in 2018 ~ 12/31/2018
I’ll have more details on the full challenge progress in a later blog post (and I’ll freely admit that I had several challenges going this year and I didn’t technically complete all of them, but I easily completed the Goodreads Reading Challenge and that’s enough for me to consider this task a success).

Okay, one more picture of cookies, because they’re yummy and why not? I hope you have a wonderful New Year’s Eve and a productive 2019!
