The Versatile Blogger Award

Jaime @ Books and Waffles tagged me The Versatile Blogger Award a while ago. Thank you, Jaime! This is a fun tag. I hope nobody minds, but I got really random with the list of seven things about me.

The Rules

Thank the person who nominated you
Leave a link to their blog
Tell us 7 things about yourself
Nominate 15 blogs/bloggers you’ve discovered recently or follow regularly

This is the original website with all the rules, but it hasn’t been updated since February of 2017.

The Facts

  1. I love Reese’s Peanut Butter cups, but not Reese’s Pieces.
  2. While I theoretically want to improve my handwriting, I don’t want to take the time to do it. I’d love to learn how to write specialty fonts, but don’t want to put in the time.
  3. I want to learn how to play the oboe just so I can play the duck’s part on Peter and the Wolf.
  4. My favorite Disney princess is Snow White. (Note: this is because of the princess we met in the theme parks, not because of the movie.)
  5. I have very fond memories of those novelty ice cream pops from the ice cream truck (which I probably wouldn’t like now if I were to try them again). Like these, but I remember them looking like Pac Man and the various ghosts. Face-Ice-Cream.jpg
  6. I love video games, but am very bad at platformers. I’ll take an RPG over a platformer any day.
  7. Lime is my favorite Popsicle, Jell-o, and jelly bean flavor.

The Tags

I’ve been catching up on a lot of tags lately, so I’m not going to officially tag anyone. I don’t want to over-tag people.  🙂

Have a great day!

  1. I’m not a big fan of Reece’s Pieces either. And what I loved from the ice cream truck were those bars on a stick with hard fudge in the middle, surrounded by a brownie-like cake, then vanilla ice cream, and a chocolate candy shell on the outside. I can’t remember what they were called, but I loved them.

    1. Oh man, those ice cream bars sound amazing. I never had one of those — we did have fudgesicles, but those didn’t have any of the rest of the goodies.

  2. I’d take a Reese’s cup over pieces any day! And I also would like to improve my handwriting and learn new fonts and cool flourishes (calligraphy stuff), but I don’t want to take the time either! I think I could improve on any “art” I do if I would just take the time to be patient and improve, but I don’t. *shrugs*

    1. I keep thinking “I’m not patient enough for that” but then I spend hours knitting or doing other crafts which I enjoy and I realize that I just don’t have enough interest in whatever I said I wasn’t patient enough for. 😉

Reese’s peanut butter cups are the best.
