Quick Pics
August 29, 2008Today is a quick post.
Things have been hectic at work, so I don’t have much energy to do things when I get home. However, I have made it to 11,900 on my Writing WIP, which is a nice feeling. Though I want to hit 15,000 by the end of day Sunday, so we’ll have to see how that goes. At least I don’t work on weekends, so I’ll have 2 days to work on my stuff instead of work stuff. Plus, this is still mostly re-typing, so it should move faster. It’s just a case of BIC,FOK. (Otherwise known as Butt In Chair, Fingers On Keyboard. Or “Just Do It.”)
And I have been knitting.
Proof! There’s the second sock NEXT TO THE FIRST SOCK, so you can’t claim that I’m just recycling pictures of the first sock. I might even get this pair finished before the Summer of Socks ends. That would be nice. (Though I do like having a sock to work on, so I’d probably start a new one when I finish this one. Though maybe I’ll take a short sock break and knit some Christmas scarves or something. We’ll have to see.)
Anyway… that’s me in a nutshell right now. Work will probably have some good news that I can talk about soon, but not yet. I’ll let you know when I can, but in the meantime I’m really pleased with the direction my life is going. It’s just tiring at the moment…

Nicole- Sounds like things are on the up for you- and that’s fantastic.
Take it easy, hope you eat well and sleep well too.
Mum’s new job has taken up a lot of her time, she’s working between 10 to 12 hours a day now so we are seeing less of her. Which means, she has less time to knit too. sigh.
