Oh. My. Word.
Some of you may know that I won one of PBW’s goodie bags when she did her recent Left Behind & Loving It (LB&LI) workshops. Well, I’ve been awaiting it, and it arrived on Tuesday.
I cannot explain how floored I was to open said package. There are very few words to express my gratitude, but THANK YOU seems to be a good start. Here. I’ll show you what I mean in pictures…
First, opening the box itself.
(and my helper…)
Then, inside were two adorable (and full!) little bags.
Filled with books and writing goodies!
Wow.
(Books, top-bottom, left-right: WILD HUNT, by Lori Devoti; AT RISK (aka THE BANE AFFAIR), by Alison Kent; THE HOB’S BARGAIN, by Patricia Briggs; PLEASURE UNBOUND, by Larissa Ione; THE IRON HUNT, by Marjorie M. Liu; THROUGH THE VEIL, by Shiloh Walker; THE PAJAMA GIRLS OF LAMBERT SQUARE, by Rosina Lippi; EVERMORE, by Lynn Viehl; and TWILIGHT FALL, by Lynn Viehl.)
PBW (aka Lynn Viehl, aka SL Viehl, aka etc…) has asked that if I like the books, I tell other readers about them. I’ll do better than that. I will tell other readers about these books once I’ve finished reading them, but in the meantime there is one book in the goodie bag which is a duplicate to one on my shelf: Evermore (by Lynn herself). Now, since the copy that arrived in my nice new box is signed, I’m not giving that copy away. However, my copy from before is completely new and untouched, since I’m reading the Darkyn series in small doses to make it last longer.
THEREFORE… if you have made it this far in this post, and you have not yet read (or do not own) EVERMORE and would like to, please say so in the comments. I’ll leave the contest open until Friday Aug 22, just for kicks. Over that weekend I’ll draw a name randomly and send the book out once I get the winner’s address. (Contest open to anyone with a mailing address.)
Good luck!
