Into the Fire

I got in trouble yesterday for not having any WIP pictures. So, in order to get out of that trouble:

A picture of not only the Hot Cocoa sock (#2) showing my progress, but also two of the three packages being sent out from my Birthday Blog Bash contest! Yay! Jess and Lorraine, you should be getting your goodies in around a week or so. I will be sending these out via Priority Mail later today. (Sprite, let me know your book pick and address, and I’ll ship yours out, too.)

However, I’ve only gotten out of the frying pan in order to get into the fire. Because I have to admit that I have made no progress on my writing since the last time I wrote about it. I want to, and I feel bad for not doing anything, but scheduling time for everything I want to get done has been kicking my butt. I have many projects going all at once right now, and several of them are not being worked on. It’s driving me nuts.

As far as books go, I don’t really have anything new to tell you about at the moment. I just started WARRIOR AND WITCH by Marie Brennan (sequel to Doppelganger) but I haven’t gotten far enough into it yet to give a good opinion of it. I mean, I like it so far, but we’re still in the set-up phase. I’ll go into more detail about it next week, probably.
