On a Cloud
Well, for WIP Wednesday I have several options. The Hot Cocoa sock #1 is still 2″ from the toe decreases. The Swan Lake stole is still hibernating (through no fault of its own) while I try to finish up other things first. (I don’t want to mess up such a lovely pattern or the beading, so must knit Swan Lake when I can really focus on it.) The Mangotini Socks are also lingering, waiting while I knit gift socks. And the Lotus Blossom tank needs to be finished ASAP, so that I don’t entirely miss the season in which I should be wearing it.
But in the meantime, here’s yet another WIP instead:
The Cloud Bolero (the first one’s a Ravelry link).
I love it, it’s fun and looks like it will fit nicely. It’s also very customizable for size, which is nice. I’ve just gotten to the part where I bind off the arms, and am looking forward to finishing it. (Will it be next off the needles? Who knows!)
I’m knitting it with Baby Alpaca Grande by Plymouth, which was one of the presents in my Box’o'Yarn this Christmas. Very soft and luxurious to knit with. I can’t wait to wear it.
