First of all, thank you for your well-wishes and prods to get to the doctor. I am going to be calling them today on my lunch break, and see what they say. (I’ll leave it up to them whether this is a “needs antibiotics” type of illness, or the “needs lots of rest because that’s all that will help” type.) At least I’m *feeling* better, even if I’m still coughing.

Secondly, I feel very loved! I arrived home from work yesterday to discover three packages had arrived for me! One was expected, and is a gift so will not be showing up on the blog. The other two were BOOKS! In the mail for me, and only semi-expected! Yay!

On the left is a package from Joely, with SL Viehl’s “Beyond Varallan” and Holly Lisle’s Secret Texts Trilogy, “Diplomacy of Wolves,” “Vengeance of Dragons,” and “Courage of Falcons.” These were things we had discussed me wanting near Christmas time, in a BookWish post.

On the right is what arrived from Ann, as a part of her Birthday Book Giveaway. The books in question are “A Test of Wills” by Charles Todd, and “Grave Talent” by Laurie R. King.

Guess I need to spend some time reading. Maybe the doctor will prescribe me some bed rest?
